John has been a Chartered Accountant since 1982 and has fourteen years of commercial insolvency experience. John’s previous business experience includes Chief Financial Officer and Controller, primarily in the real estate industry.

John joined our Vancouver corporate insolvency team in 2001. His practice includes a wide range of engagements including private and Court appointed receiverships, bankruptcies and proposals. John has also conducted numerous viability assessments on behalf of secured lenders. For the past four years, John has worked extensively on a major reorganization under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act, involving a large real estate developer with projects in Canada and the United States.

John’s insolvency and professional background has proven to be invaluable to both secured lenders and business owners in assessing the critical issues and finding meaningful and timely solutions.
